I really want to share something I learned about on ebay! Hubby picked up an old wooden rocket glider kit at his mother's house one day. His late dad never threw ANYTHING away! So there are always assorted things moving from their house to ours. Hubby was going to give the jet kit to our grandson. I said that wouldn't happen because he wouldn't like it and it was mint in its original package! Going up on ebay! I took a couple photos and put a nice simple listing with it. (sorry for upside down~ computer is very uncooperative tonight) Wooden jet kit by Centuri. I later found out it is very rare and the buyer had never seen one on ebay before. Started it at $5.99. Figured it would be worth at least that to someone who loved them as a child. Lots of views very quickly! And a couple bids. Then about 4 days into it someone bid $76. I was thrilled!! It was scheduled to end on a Sunday night. I was online and keeping an eye on the auction. I was SO excited and shocked! I let out a little scream (I do that...) and my son asked what was wrong. I couldn't find the words and kind of babbled in response until I could speak~ It sold for $256~!! YAHOO!! Ya never know what something will sell for on ebay! andYou never know what you will find in Nana Potts' Cupboard!!
